As the name of our voluntary organization indicates, its primary purpose is forest firefighting and forest fire protection in the northern suburbs of Athens. In fact, our team often assists the state Fire Service in almost the entire range of its responsibilities, in the wider geographical area of Attica. O.E.D.D. consists of 65 active volunteers, among whom is the board of directors, which isresponsible for the smooth operation of the team.
